Prof. dr. ir. Stefan Bon has been invited to BEWI, a leading international provider of packaging, components and insulation solutions., to give a 1-day course on heterogeneous polymerization techniques with a special focus on suspension polymerization. Together with prof. Alex van Herk, topics addressed will be: fundamentals of radical polymerization; heterogeneous polymerization techniques: (mini-)emulsion, dispersion, precipitation and suspension; motion and colloid stability; particles at liquid interfaces; droplet/particle size distributions in suspension polymerization.
